Women Empowerment Cell

• To empower women to realize their potential and compete for equal opportunities in building a successful home and career.

• To uplift the girls socially and intellectually, the cell conducts various awareness camps- health, legal, entrepreneurship, defense techniques, etc in order to equip them with the right knowledge for a life of equality, empowerment, personal enhancement and professional success.
• To empower them in raising their voice against Gender Discrimination/Injustice/Violence.
• To spread social awareness through street plays, marathons, etc.
• To provide a platform for girls and women to share their experiences and views regarding their status in the society and to suggest ways to improve and empower themselves.

• To empower girl students.
• To increase understanding of issues related to women.
• To ensure safety of girl students in the college campus.
• To impart knowledge on legal rights, social responsibilities and health of women
• Create gender sensitivity awareness among students and create positive values supporting girls and their rights.
• Provide an integrated and interdisciplinary approach to understand the social and cultural constructions of gender that shape the experiences of women and men in society.
• Generate awareness regarding equality in law, social system and democratic activities.
• Maintain a good workplace free from discrimination and bullying.
• Enable girls to have a wider role in decision-making.
• Prevent and respond to gender-based violence.
• Maintain gender equality in teaching and education systems.
• Create a gender-inclusive learning environment.
• Conduct regular awareness activities among students and staff.
• Provide facilities and infrastructure for staff and students.
